Our project of Pterocarpans santalinus L, endemic started since 2000 by Mr. Vivek Mane at Latur Maharashtra, having expertise with agriculture back ground and commercial expertise in dairy, cattle feed and sugar cane, contract farming. He carried out relentless effort in field of sandal wood once government of India made legal provision for cultivation of sandal wood through Karnataka forest amendment act 2001 and thereafter we have been doing research in development of this endangered crop and its allied products
With our research work of last 20 years we have explored various opportunities of its allied products with the vison of following benefits. Our journey to meet out our objectives is evident from the track of consistency in out efforts with our works through our different business wings.
To spearhead sustainable agricultural practices and promote economic empowerment by harnessing the potential of Pterocarpus santalinus L cultivation, while fostering social responsibility and environmental stewardship.
Our vision encompasses creating a thriving ecosystem that benefits farmers, investors, youth, industries, and society at large, while contributing to national economic growth and environmental preservation.
We are doing this concept right from developing seeds to plants in nurseries with our authenticated monitoring system before taking each plant of height 1.5 – 2 ft. to be planted in field for which soil testing is done in pre plantation stage. We do proper spacing between trees and feed them with organic food supplement as required periodically along with proper water management system with reserves
Our plants attains height of 45 ft. in 4-5 yrs ( red sandal wood single root plant) and has maturity in 10 years with increase in weight and diameter and circumference. We make proper utilization of land by doing compatible intermediate cropping along with red sandalwood to give high yield to farmers/investors for substantial growth of each category. Powder is extracted from heart wood which later being tested in labs before being packed for market.
